Title: Accordion Gate

A fragment of an accordion gate from an old lift found in a disused warehouse in Aberdeen.
Year: 2025

Dimensions: 185mm x 185mm (image only). Limited edition of 4.

This print is part of the new 'Analogue Modes' collection of collagraph prints that captures the quiet presence of obsolete machines—fragments of once-functional objects that shaped our daily lives. Rendered with rich textures and deep contrasts, the prints visually echo the aesthetic of old black-and-white photographs, emphasizing the tactile, handcrafted nature of analogue processes. Through layered plates and carefully built surfaces, the work celebrates the rhythm and materiality of analogue systems—offering a visual archive of motion, utility, and the human touch behind the machine.

The print is numbered, titled and signed by the artist. It will be presented in a 12 x 12 inch off-white textured mount ready for framing.
Due to the nature of the handmade process there would be slight variations between each print.
The print will be presented in an off-white textured picture mount with back board, ready for framing. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.

The framed option includes a 38 x 38cm off-white textured mount, black solid wood frame (15mm wide profile, 40 x 40cm external size), with acrylic glazing and hardboard backing.
