Outpost Prints is a creative studio established by a Scotland-based artist Volha Druhakova, who works primarily in printmaking. Following the completion of her Master of Architecture degree, Volha pursued a career in architecture while simultaneously undertaking a printmaking course at Gray’s School of Art. Since then, she has continued to refine her artistic practice through independent study and participation in a range of specialized workshops.
Her work employs a variety of printmaking techniques to explore architectural and landscape abstractions. These compositions present a synthesis of real and imagined environments, inspired by her travels and grounded in sketches produced on location.
Volha has exhibited her work in numerous shows and received several commissions, including Now and Then: Dalkeith Palace, organized by Visual Arts Scotland; several exhibitions at The Old Lockup Gallery; and the 2nd Wild & Tamed exhibition at Blue Koi Gallery, where she received an Honourable Mention. Additionally, she has contributed to a number of local group exhibitions across North-East Scotland.
